Aleksei Demchenko in Piano Recital
Aleksei Demchenko was born in Alma-Ata, Kazakhstan (USSR), where he started playing the piano at the age of six. In 1998 he moved to Kaliningrad, where he studied for six years at the Shostakovich Music School under the tutelage of Sadovskaya Olga. She was the person who noticed potential of a young boy and immediately started to prepare him for the first piano competition in his life.
In 2004 Aleksei has graduated from Shostakovich Musick School and continued his education at the Rachmaninoff College of Music in Kaliningrad. During these 4 years he did his first serious steps in music career participating in both local and international festivals and competitions such as 1st Bluthner competition in Kaliningrad, Russia (3rd prize) and ‘Gradus ad Parnassum’ in Kaunas, Lithuania (1st prize). In 2005 Aleksei has been acknowledged as a very talented and upcoming musician and has been honored a grant for his outstanding achievements in by local government.
At the end of 2007 after graduating with honors from Rachmaninoff College of Music in Kaliningrad, Aleksei has decided to enroll into one of the most prestigious universities – Moscow State Conservatory. Throughout the whole experience he had encouragement and support from Vladimir Slobodyan. For the next five years in Moscow Aleksei’s tutor at the conservatory was Irina Osipova, Honored Artist of Russia. During his studies in Moscow, Aleksei had an honor to meet and to play on master classes of famous musicians such as, Boris Bloch, Anne Oland, Dmitry Bashkirov, and Dina Yoffe. All of them said at once that Aleksei is a very talented musician with a bright future ahead of him. In 2016 he became an artist of Talent Unlimited trust. At the present, Aleksei is a student of well-known piano professor of the world – Dmitri Alexeev.
International engagement includes several appearances on festivals in Denmark, Germany, Russia, Spain, England. Aleksei worked also as an accompanist with such well known sopranos as Alina Yarovaya, Svetlana Kasyan, Galina Averina. He performed concertos by Brahms, Beethoven, Chopin, Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov several times with Kaliningrad’s Symphonic Orchestra. In 2012 Aleksei Demchenko became a scholar of LSR Group and it’s general director Andrei Molchanov, who is still providing him support and every help for his future career. Future engagement includes concerts in England, Russia & France.
