Olga Storey, a musician and Christian believer will give a talk and present some music pieces dedicated to the History of Russian Icons through the centuries. Icons play a significant role in Russian culture and everyday life.
“Discover the world of Orthodoxy, the power of the wonder-working icons, their connections and influence with Russian history and people.

In this presentation I will try to show and to talk about the meaning of icons, the mysterious signs and the miracles of Orthodoxy. I will also talk about the most famous wonder-working icons, the history of their first appearance in Russia, their wonders throughout the centuries and their healing power. With a background of superb recorded Russian choir singing you will see splendid images of Orthodox churches and icons. There will also be a talk about the new Martyrs of Russia (including the Tsar’s family) and the miraculous Orthodox Easter light in Jerusalem.”
