What do we know about the time Lenin spent in London?

Not much, but something we do. Lenin came to the capital of Great Britain six times. The British library interested him the most. It was there where Lenin got access to the works of Karl Marx and, ironically, it was the capitalistic London where Lenin started writing books on how to destroy the world capitalism.

Today there’s also a small memorial plaque by Holford Square that reminds us about Lenin’s presence in London. It says that Lenin lived in the house that used to be on this place in 1905. Also there’s a residential complex that was supposed to be named “Lenin’s House”, but it got a different name because of the Cold War. Apart from these, there’s a Lenin’s sculpture, a fresco with the blue-eyed Lenin in the memorial Marx’s library and pub “The Crown”, where, according to its owners, he had meetings with Stalin.
