Rules for posting on Afisha.London

What events qualify for our calendar

♦ The event takes place in London. We also list online events or those in nearby cities if they meet our other submission requirements (see below).

♦ The event relates to culture, art, education, business, or serves an entertainment or educational purpose for a Russian-speaking audience.

♦ The event description is well-written, concise, and in an informational style. Here is an example.

♦ Announcements written in all caps will not be accepted. Use a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters in titles and descriptions.

♦ The event image must be horizontal, clear, vibrant, without logos or text. Please credit the image appropriately.

♦ As the organiser, you are responsible for the accuracy of your publication’s content and must act within local legal guidelines.

♦ The website offers two language options: Russian and English. By filling out the form in Russian, your event will appear on the Russian version of the site; similarly, in English, it will appear on the English version. To have your event listed in both versions, submit it twice (once in Russian and once in English).

Event listing fees in Afisha.London’s calendar section

♦ Afisha.London magazine has been publishing events on its pages free of charge for over 9 years. According to new submission rules from August 2024, events will appear for free one week before they take place, reaching readers in London’s most popular events calendar.

♦ If you want your event featured earlier to increase its reach, you’ll need to submit each event through the website and pay a £50 fee. You can pay the invoice here.  If additional documentation is required, please contact us here. This payment gives you earlier placement in the calendar and a top position on the magazine’s homepage for three days.

♦ Regular organisers can access a discount package for “Calendar” publications. Please contact to discuss the options here
